9. What are Fridays like?
Fridays are for fun! Each Friday we will either go out on a trip (Dorney Park, Philadelphia Zoo, etc.) OR have a fun experience here on Hill Top’s campus (i.e. a Field Day with inflatable slip n’ slide, dunk tank, games, etc.).

10. What happens when it rains?
On days where there is light rain with no thunder and lightning, our camp day will continue as scheduled outdoors, so please dress accordingly (wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty). For very rainy days and/or thunderstorms, our campus at Hill Top Preparatory School is equipped with plenty of indoor space to relocate to. We have a full sized gym with equipment, art rooms, and many classrooms to spread out in. We also have board games, a library, and indoor activities that serve as a “Plan B” for these rainy days.

11. How do I know if this program is a good fit for my child?
Our summer community is a beautiful blend of campers with many different backgrounds and experiences! A portion of our campers are diagnosed with various learning differences, and a portion of our campers are not. Some come from Philadelphia, and some come from cities and towns in New Jersey and Delaware. There is no “one-size-fits-all” description of a Hill Top Camper - as long as they are able to verbally communicate, independent with personal well-being (hygiene, bathroom, movement, etc.) and are interested in learning social skills while having fun and building friendships, we are the place for you!

12. Okay, I’m interested!! What is the next step???
  • For current Hill Top students - Submit an inquiry here on the website and complete the pre-registration form. We will contact you to complete registration and submit payment.
  • For non-Hill Top students - Submit an inquiry here on the website to set up a visit and complete the pre-registration form. Visits will consist of a 30-minute walking tour and interview, where we will have a conversation with you and your child about the camp and determine if it is a good fit for all parties.
