Funds to Support
At Hill Top Preparatory School, every donation makes a meaningful impact on the education and growth of our neurodiverse students. Whether you choose to support a specific fund or contribute to our Annual Fund, your generosity helps sustain our mission to provide an exceptional educational experience.
Annual Fund
The Annual Fund at Hill Top Preparatory School is a vital resource that ensures we can continue delivering our unique and comprehensive curriculum to neurodiverse students year after year. Tuition alone does not cover all expenses, and the Annual Fund bridges that gap, allowing us to sustain and enhance the programs that make Hill Top Prep exceptional. Contributions to the Annual Fund support every aspect of the school's operations, from classroom resources to scholarships. These donations have a direct impact on all our students, allowing them to thrive academically, socially, and personally.
Brenneman Family Fund
The Brenneman Family Fitness Center was created in memory of alumnus Asa In Kyuk Brenneman ‘14, who credited physical fitness with giving him a sense of balance, purpose, and a high quality of life. In recognition of his experience, Asa’s family established this thoughtfully designed fitness space, featuring state-of-the-art equipment, to support the well-being of Hill Top’s community. Fully incorporated into the school’s physical education courses and after-school activities, the Brenneman Family Fitness Center offers a welcoming environment where neurodiverse students can build healthy habits that last a lifetime.
Fisher Fund for Professional Development
The Fisher Fund for Professional Development, named in honor of Hill Top Prep’s founder, Dr. Elissa Fisher, is dedicated to advancing the professional growth of our faculty and staff. This fund provides essential resources for ongoing education, training, and development opportunities, ensuring that our educators are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills to support the needs of our neurodiverse learners. Donations to the Fisher Fund help maintain the high standard of excellence that defines Hill Top Preparatory School, empowering our team to continue delivering life-changing experiences to our students.
Needham Scholarship Fund
The Needham Scholarship Endowment Fund at Hill Top Preparatory School is named in honor of former Head of School, Thomas Needham, who was instrumental in shaping our unique curriculum with both academic and social-emotional programming to support neurodiverse learners. Deeply focused on future opportunities for the students under his care, and a consummate collaborator, Tom also established internships and mentor programs with companies that support neurodiversity in the workplace. Thanks to this fund, Tom's legacy endures, supporting Hill Top’s efforts in continuing to offer the comprehensive and tailored educational experience that has defined the school’s mission, opening doors for future generations of students, and helping the school to establish a viable endowment.
J. R. Porter Photography and Social Skills Fund
The J.R. Porter Photography and Social Skills Fund was established in memory of Hill Top Prep alumnus John Robert Porter ‘06, whose passion for photography helped him form interpersonal relationships and gain social confidence. In recognition of J.R.’s experience, his parents generously created this fund to support art programming that fosters personal connections, self-confidence, and social skills. Each year the fund supports Hill Top’s Artist-in-Residence program, affording students with opportunities to explore a variety of art mediums, while helping them to grow both creatively and socially in a supportive environment.
Student Enrichment Fund
The Student Enrichment Fund is dedicated to ensuring that all students, regardless of their financial background, have access to the full range of extracurricular activities that enrich their educational experience. This fund provides mini-scholarships that cover costs associated with our monthly 'Fun Friday' outings, national and international travel opportunities, and other programs designed to develop social skills and promote strong executive functioning. By supporting the Student Enrichment Fund, you are helping our neurodiverse students build essential life skills, fostering their growth into confident and independent adults.
