This video was created and produced by Hunter Ivery '25 Hill Top Preparatory School's SEI Investments Scholar. with the help of 9th grader Jonah Lynn '24. Hunter worked hard with his family, faculty and staff to show his appreciation for the scholarship he receives so that he can benefit from Hill Top's unique curriculum.

hi my name is Hunter Ivory and this year I was in the SEI Investments car at Hilltop Preparatory School I wish I could be meeting you in person but with the ship Sandstone Place I'm making this video to thank you for your scholarship support at Hilltop. if you're making this opportunity available for me before I arrived at Hilltop and shove it in Catholic school you know I am really smart it was difficult for me socially and because I was a little different from most students I was talking perceived as disobedient or disruptive as a result my schoolwork suffered and going to school everyday with heart I came to Hilltop prep this year in 8th grade and even though the pandemic is making it an unusual year and almost instantly fit in at Hilltop I make you to just like me had a hard time fitting in at regular schools help this pain quickly I'm ready sfjcc here are pre algebra with letter and info skills and Miss Tompkins my name is Jill Wagner and math teacher at Hilltop for paratore school this year I've had the great privilege of being able to teach and Mentor Hunter Ivory as a pre algebra student Hunter work extremely hard he stripe develop a thorough understanding of the material and is always willing to review his work for accuracy he knows that Mastery takes time and he is willing to develop his skills and put forth effort to improve overtime Hunter is an extremely kind thoughtful and caring individual he truly accepting of his peers for who they are and really strive to bring out the best in all when what am I meant to use who was a younger students started school in person for the first time Hunter took him under his wing and showed him the campus and how we do things at Hilltop this student looks up to Hunter as do many of his peers and classmates it is my honor to be able to watch Hunter grow as a person and a student and I can only wait to see all the progress he will continue to make hi I'm wadia Ivory Harold Ivory were Hunter Ivory's parents just wanted to talk a little bit about how appreciative we are a hunter is at Hilltop prep yes we have such a long way since since his beginning days of life and to be at Hilltop right now it has been such a great experience for Hunter he has done a complete change in his academic and his social just all-around as a student as a person he's just made a complete change always been the same Sweet Child that he is but we could just see at Hill singing at Hilltop has helped him significantly just one example we would have said Hunter how's your masquerade I hate math because you know I'm ready for subject and Miss lots of working with him it has been a godsend for Hunter and I just I just can't think o top enough for just finally accepting him into a place where he fits in and he's able to be the great person he acts that he was going to go to high school and I can tell you personally this please night trying to figure out if he's going to fit in and he's going to make it through High School what's going to what high school is going to be for him and he's going to struggle Hilltop is just God, it's this is the way the situation went with us in finding the school right before the school year during the pandemic and being able to go to school everyday through the pandemic and he loves school now there's nothing I can't I can't even put into words how much gratitude I have towards the hilltop prep and what they've done for our son we've been on the honor roll for the past couple Market cast couple more computers it's like I get emotional just talking about it because it was so stressed stressful for us trying to figure out where he's going to school and just did he landed there and he's you know he's flying now he's taking off and to see the school making him into the young man that we know he he's going to grow up to be so from both of us in our family we just want to thank Hilltop for everything you did they done for Hunter what they continue to do Connor and words can't express how thankful we are I also like that I have the opportunity to participate in activities that I really enjoyed bowling Poetry Club in Boca. I haven't tried out for it and made the school's brand new Esports team at home and at school I'm a huge sports fan I like to watch him play basketball baseball and soccer whenever I can update and back each year I wish I can meet you in person but someplace I'm making this video to thank you for your scholarship support at Hilltop prep and her making this opportunity available for me
