PEERS® Summer Bootcamps
Welcome to PEERS® Summer Bootcamps 2025
PEERS® boot camps are designed to teach evidence-based social skills for the enhancement of the ability of individuals to foster meaningful connections while gaining self confidence in social situations. Small groups are designed for adolescents, teens and young adults. Attendees are presented with targeted skills through didactic instructions, role-play demonstrations, and the opportunity to practice the newly learned skills through behavioral rehearsal exercises. Boot camp sessions run daily for two weeks, teaching direct skills. Examples of skills taught include but not are limited to entering and exiting conversations, use of electronic communication, choosing appropriate friendships, get togethers and handling disagreements.
Each session is led by two certified PEERS® instructors, who also have years of experience in special education, ensuring a supportive and enriching environment for all.
Parents also gain support and insights on how to best support their students in achieving their goals.
