we're focusing on designing a program for you as a student that allows you to have experiences that give you things to learn and grow in the workforce not only are you taking academic classes here that lead to accredited high school diploma you're also working in corporations you're doing internships in different companies in the area so that when you get your high school diploma it not only represents an accredited diploma from an accredited High School here in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania it also represents what would be a resume a very deep resume of a variety of from work experience is so that when you're applying to college or when you're applying for a job you will find that people will be receptive to the different experiences you had so there's some depth to you when you make that application things I've done since I've been in this position is I started something called an alumni anchor program and through that every student when they leave they are attached to one of the teachers the teacher picks who they want to keep in touch with and we keep in touch with them through their first yours college or post Hilltop life so that if they have issues they have a trusted person that they can turn to and say hey can you help me with this weather it's can you proofread my English paper or my roommates the crazy and I don't know how to handle it what should I do in a more accepting setting helpful for me to be able to learn the social skills and to create better relationships outside of Hilltop moving forward after I graduated I will talk I was prepared for Life by allowing me to understand individual self and how I work best being able to understand how to take a step back exam the situation and move forward and not only helped in college but now also my prayer when I'm being given different tasks and learning how to approach them Honda what is next mostly it was a lot of one-on-one talks so I was always heard and I could always say what was on my mind at the time without having to worry about anyone judging me Carter was stale frankly he was he was years behind in some academic categories so he went from being not involved in any activities at school in the public school environment to becoming the captain of the the running team and as an avid Runner he's running club he's very passionate is it into a law causes he's a minor in sustainability he's a Greener and he's a minor also minor in peace and Justice and he's got his certificate of fluency in technology certificate we thought he treat ever go to college let alone go to Villanova University and today he's Dean's List 2
