Clifton Hood, Geometry and History Teacher

Mr. Clifton Hood has called the Villanova area home for the past 20 years, though he hails from Columbus, Ohio. He earned his degree in Legal Studies and History from Tulane University in 2005, followed by a teaching certificate and Master’s degree from Eastern University in 2009. With 15 years of teaching experience across various locations—including Radnor and Haverford school districts, Cincinnati, Ohio, Germantown, and even a year in Guatemala—Mr. Hood brings a diverse background to the classroom. He is certified in Math, Social Studies, and English and will be teaching 10th grade Geometry and 11th grade U.S. History at Hill Top Prep this year. Outside of teaching, Mr. Hood enjoys playing golf, reading, and spending time with his dogs, Murphy and Max. He’s thrilled to join Hill Top Prep’s dedicated and collaborative team.
