Brittany Weiderhold, Science Teacher
Ms. Weiderhold graduated from Swarthmore College in 2020 with a BA in Biology and Psychology. Following her time at Swarthmore, Brittany worked in a Hematology-Oncology lab for two years at the University of Pennsylvania where she investigated inappropriate platelet signaling and its consequences in patients suffering from myeloproliferative neoplasms. In addition, Brittany recently completed graduate studies abroad and now holds a Master of Arts in Child, Youth, and Family Studies from the South East Technological University. During her time abroad, Brittany successfully completed her dissertation work surrounding the topic of teachers' perceptions on the use of technology in the classrooms of students with language-based learning disabilities. Brittany enjoys teaching science courses at Hill Top and values the school’s supportive and inclusive community. Her hobbies include playing music, reading, and exploring the outdoors.
