On Friday, the Hill Top Community gathered to celebrate the academic achievements of students for the first semester. Among the many awards presented by Assistant Head - Program, Cindy Falcone, and numerous teachers were Honors and High Honors awards along with Special Recognition Awards recognizing achievements in math, Straff House, social studies and more. In addition, Spirit of the Hawk awards were presented to students who demonstrated one or more of the four pillars - Courage, Perseverance, Leadership and Service. Approximately two-thirds of the student body received recognition for their efforts and successes. After the awards were presented, there was an exciting announcement about Hill Top's new Esports team and the introduction of its coach, Hill Top graduate Dan Costa ‘07.
