On February 25, Hill Top mourned the passing of its greatest benefactor, Louise Bristol-Bates. Mrs. Bristol supported Hill Top generously over the past 45 years as a tribute to the education her son received here long ago. Bill Bates ’74 is a dedicated graduate and still involved with Hill Top in many ways. Even in her obituary, Mrs. Bristol designates Hill Top as the beneficiary of memorial contributions. In appreciation for a legacy of support spanning more than 4 decades from the Bates-Bristol Family, The Mansion at Hill Top Preparatory School has been named Bates–Bristol Hall.
