Hill Top Cup 2024-2025
The Hill Top Cup is presented each May to those students who have been most involved in student life opportunities throughout the year. There are dozens of ways for our students to get involved including athletic teams, Fun Fridays, the Thrill on the Hill 5k Challenge, HawXpo, ski trips, performances, and many more. Students earn "Cup Points" each time they say "yes" to a student life offering and at the end of the year, those with the most points are invited to join us on a reward trip.

This year, our students averaged just under 10 points each which is fantastic! The following students earned a minimum of 17 points and will have their names added to the Hill Top Cup for the 2024-2025 school year and are invited to join us on an off campus trip next Friday.

With 17 points: Justin B., Daemon L., R.J. P.
With 19 points: Hunter I., Owen Y.
With 20 points: Leo W.
With 23 points: Damian W.
With 24 points: John B., Josh O., Ed S.
With 28 points: Annie F., Arden L.

Congratulations to our 2024-2025 Hill Top Cup winners and to all of our students for saying "yes" to so many Student Life opportunities this year!

Mental Health Fitness Club- Mentor Period
Mr. Clarke thanked all the students who took the time to sign up and participate in the mental health fitness group.

Relax Your Body
Students will join Mrs. Butler in the Flex Space today for the wellness activity- Relax Your Body with Sleep.

Mental Health Awareness Month
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness, reducing stigma, and promoting well-being.

Throughout the month of May, the Clinical Team will be hosting a variety of optional activities during Mentor periods to help students explore wellness strategies in meaningful and engaging ways. These activities are designed to encourage self care.

Students are encouraged to check out the calendar that is posted around campus for information about the different activities including a bubble party, fitness sessions, mindful walk, relaxation, and crafting!

Spirit of the Hawks
Leo W., David P. and Alex P. earned Spirit of the Hawks for PERSEVERANCE!
These students faced the challenge and stress of AP testing. The perseverance they showed during the test was inspiring. These students pushed themselves, stayed focused and did not give up! They showed dedication and grit. Congratulations Leo, David and Alex on this accomplishment!

Soles4Souls’ Shoe Collection
The Hill Top USSC is collecting new and gently used shoes. Donated shoes will be repurposed and distributed through Soles4Souls’, a micro-enterprise program that creates jobs in Haiti, Honduras and other developing nations. The program helps individuals start small businesses. Thank you in advance for your donations. There will be a container for shoes by the stairwell off the lobby.
