Spirit of the Hawks Mrs. McGrath awarded Jackson B. a spirit of the hawk for his Perseverance in math class. Jackson encountered a very complex multiple step problem at the end of his Intermediate Algebra class yesterday. His determination to conquer this question was evident when he returned to LL3 for Mentor. After advocating for himself, he worked tirelessly on the Promethean board, checking and re-checking his work in order to reach the correct solution. Congratulations, Jackson, you are a Superstar!
Congratulations to Sophie B. who received a spirit of the hawk for Courage. Sophie displayed outstanding participation in Mr. Sedgwick’s improv activity.
Congratulations to Kieran B. who earned a spirit of the hawk for his service at HawXpo. Kieran assisted Ms. Lesser in setting up the Magic the gathering booth. In addition, he guided others throughout the day who were new to the game.
