National Science Appreciation Day-3/26 National Science Appreciation Day is fast approaching and the Math/Science Department has organized a fun-filled afternoon of activities for our entire school community! This year’s Science Day will take place on Wednesday, March 26, during 6th and 7th periods. The festivities will be held in the large commons and on the back patio of the Mansion. Students will rotate through a variety of scientific stations. Some of the exciting activities include experiments focused on density and buoyancy, a make-your-own ice cream station, and the opportunity to create your own microscope slide using a cheek swab. We’ll all enjoy scientific sweet treats to wrap up the day! 6th Grade Field Trip- 3/20 Tomorrow, in honor of our unit about China, the 6th grade will have lunch at Dim Sum Mania in Berwyn. Dim sum is a traditional Chinese meal of small, bite-sized portions of food that are steamed, fried, or baked. The term translates to "touch the heart" in Cantonese. Students will be leaving Hill Top at 10:45 and returning at 12:15 pm.
