Saga Meeting Students meet today, during mentor period in the Art room.
Blood Drive- 3/12 Hill Top Preparatory School's National Honor Society and the American Red Cross are hosting a blood drive today. MS Career Day- 3/13 Tomorrow afternoon, Middle School students will listen to 4 different Career Presentations from a PhD student studying nanoparticles to a Firefighter. The students will be placed in 4 small groups and rotate to each presenter for 20 minute presentations with a 10 minute break in the middle.
Hindu Festival- 3/14 The middle school students will be honoring the Hindu festival Holi with a fun activity at the end of the day on Friday! We’ll be safely throwing colorful powders and getting a little messy. Students should pack a white or dark shirt (so the colors stand out). Please pack the shirt in a plastic bag to bring home separately. The powders are non-staining.
Pi Day 3-14 Pi Day is this Friday, digits of Pi will be spoken and Pies thrown at teachers! Before the fun, students will learn about Pi (π), the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, is a fundamental mathematical constant with widespread applications in various fields, from engineering and physics to astronomy and even medicine. Spirit of the Hawk Every morning two students stay and help straighten up the small commons, pushing in chairs and fixing the tables. Mrs. Stretch has awarded Max B. and Malcolm L. with a Spirit of the Hawk for Service!
Thames at Mitchell College 3/17- During lunch period (11:45 am) 10th and 11th graders and their families are invited to a pizza lunch in the nest to learn about Thames at Mitchell College in New London, CT. Mitchell College, a small private college that has been long-recognized for its innovative support for students with learning differences. Please let Mrs. Henry know by email if you are able to attend.
Fun Friday: Arnold's Entertainment Center- 3/14 We'll be heading to Arnold's Entertainment Center in Oaks, PA for a night of Glow Bowling, Mini Golf and arcade games.
This will take place on Friday, March 14 from 3:15-7:00. The cost is $65 and includes 1 hour of bowling, 1 round of mini golf, 1500 Arcade points, 2 slices of pizza and a soft drink. It also covers bus transportation and faculty supervision. Students are welcome to bring additional money to purchase additional snacks from the cafe or more arcade points.

Hill Top’s Annual Phillies Fun Friday- 5/30 Join us as we see our Philadelphia Phillies take on the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday, May 30 at 6:45 PM. We have tickets in Section 310 (all together this year!), just down the first baseline. This is an event for the entire Hill Top Community--students, families, alumni, faculty, you name it! Students are expected to attend with their family or friends. Transportation is not provided. Tickets are $40 each. Pop-Up Scholastic Book Fair We are excited to announce that the Scholastic Book Fair is returning to Hill Top! We are hosting a pop-up fair on March 28-29 in the gym. Teachers will be invited to bring students to shop at the fair on Friday, 3/28 and families will also have access to the fair at HawXpo on Saturday, 3/29. Please visit our Book Fair homepage for more information and to set up an E-Wallet for your students. All proceeds from the book fair benefit Hill Top students, so we hope you can make it!
Future Fridays Future Fridays is a meeting group hosted by Hilltop's Villanova interns designed for junior, senior, and Horizons students to explore and plan for their futures, including discussions about college, careers, and life after graduation. Join us Friday's during lunch in the library!
Summer Adventures Summer Adventures registration is now open for all Hill Top families! This year, we’re excited to offer three amazing camps: Summer Adventures, a traditional day camp for grades 2-9; eSports & Technology, a competitive gaming camp for grades 6-12; and Pathways to Independence, an independent living skills camp for grades 10-post-grad.
