THRILL ON THE HILL- 10/5
This year, Thrill on the Hill will be held Saturday, October 5th.
This is a fun, family event/fundraiser for the whole Hill Top community and beyond! There will be a 5k race, 1.5mile fun walk, raffles, and even an alumni gathering. Be sure to register by September 16th to guarantee a race day t-shirt!

Back to School Cookout-Friday 9/20
The Back to School Cookout is scheduled for Friday, September 20, 2024. This is a family event so all are welcome!
Starting at 3:45, we will have a Soccer Team vs. Faculty soccer game. If the weather is inclement, we will have an indoor game in the gym.
At 4:30, we will move up to the Mansion where we will have time to Meet and Eat until about 6:00. At the registration table, we will have a copy of your child's schedule and name tags ready for you. We hope you will enjoy a burger or hot dog while also finding some time to meet your child's teachers. If the weather is inclement, we will move everything inside.
If you would like your child to stay after school on Friday, please email or send a note to Gail Barnes so that she can adjust the transportation plans accordingly. If we do not have a note, we will send your child home via their regular transportation.
SAGA
The Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA) is a club that meets during mentor period every other Wednesday. The purpose of the group is to provide community and a safe space to LGBTQIA+ students at Hill Top. We put on events during the year, provide space for discussion, analyze current events, and take care of each other while advocating for the acceptance of members of our community. Our first meeting of the 2024-25 school year will be today in Mr. McGinnis' room FH3.
Library Announcement
Mrs. Gillespie is looking for students who may be interested in serving on an advisory board for the Hill Top library. Students on the board would help make recommendations about book purchases, evaluate the current collections, and work with teachers to make sure that the library has sufficient resources in content areas. Advisory board members will also help promote library materials through community meeting announcements and social media posts. Anyone who is interested should see Mrs. Gillespie.
Library Card Sign Up Month
September is Library Card Sign Up Month!! Do you have a card for your public library? If so, bring it in and show Mrs. Gillespie and win some junk! If you don't, talk to Mrs. Gillespie and she can tell you how you can get one.
Attendance Procedure
We will follow the attendance procedure we implemented last year. If there is any change in your child's attendance, please email [email protected] or call 610-527-3230. We will not be requiring hand-written notes, but do need a parent to either email or call in order to make a change. A change may be a late arrival, early dismissal, or absence in either online or in-person attendance.
