An additional Holiday has been added to the Hill Top Calendar- School will be closed for a Head of School Holiday on Tuesday, November 5th.
Back to School Cookout-Friday 9/20
• 3:30-4:30 pm is the student vs faculty soccer game!
• 4:30-6:15 pm is our cookout on the mansion back lawn.
Mr. Mayne announced that the students had a great start to the school year yesterday. Everyone was respectful and engaged. He is very proud of everyone.
THIS Friday is our 1st Dress Down Day!
Confluence Day- A fun day not a class day
Mr. Van Dyke announced that Confluence Day is this Friday. Some of the activities on Friday will be- swimming (students interested in swimming should bring a bathing suit & towel), arts and crafts, basketball, Gaga, and much more! We will serve Pizza and Tomato Pie for lunch. Students are welcome to bring their own lunch to school if they do not want a pizza lunch or utilize the Ordo lunch service.
Students do not need to bring their backpack to school on Friday.

Visiting College Rep Schedule
Next week we begin mentor period visits from college admission counselors. The following school will be visiting next week:
Tuesday -Savannah ollege of Art and Design, coming on Tuesday, 9/10 at Mentor Period.

Library Card Sign Up Month
September is Library Card Sign Up Month!! Do you have a card for your public library? If so, bring it in and show Mrs. Gillespie and win some junk! If you don't, talk to Mrs. Gillespie and she can tell you how you can get one.
Spirit of the Hawks
Mr. Van Dyke awarded Aiden Christel, a Spirit of the Hawk for Leadership. Aidan overheard a fellow student saying that they were struggling with chemistry class and he volunteered his help.
Mr. Penney awarded a student with a Spirit of the Hawk for Service. Yesterday, Greg Newman Took it upon himself to hang organize the chairs that we use for community meeting. He also assisted other students in hanging their chairs.
Attendance Procedure
We will follow the attendance procedure we implemented last year. If there is any change in your child's attendance, please email [email protected] or call 610-527-3230. We will not be requiring hand-written notes, but do need a parent to either email or call in order to make a change. A change may be a late arrival, early dismissal, or absence in either online or in-person attendance.
