Bean Scene Guessing Game
Congrats to Jonah L. who won a $5. gift card to the Bean Scene today for guessing the closest number of coffee beans in the Super Bowl of beans!

Spirit of the Hawks
Mr. Smallwood awarded two students with spirit of the hawks this morning. David P. found money on the ground and chose to hand it in. David received a spirit of the hawk for Courage for doing the right thing!

Greta D. noticed the ropes were not lined up on the rock wall and took the time to climb up and rethread them. For completing this challenge Greta received a spirit of the hawk for Courage!

Adventure Trek- June 2024
Mr. Van Dyke announced next year's Adventure Trek to Amsterdam and Paris! We're excited to visit these two iconic and incredible cities and surroundings with our students!
We'll be holding an information meeting next Wednesday evening (February 15th) at 6pm in the large commons for anyone interested in learning about this incredible opportunity for Upper School students.
We encourage all interested students and their parents to join us for the meeting.

Some basic info for you to be aware of prior to the meeting:
1) The dates of the trip are June 15-21, 2024.
2) The deadline for enrolling in the trip (with current discount) is February 24th.
3) The trip is open to students in grades 9 and up during the 23-24 school year.
4) The cost of the trip is roughly $4000.

Skiing & Boarding Trip- 2/22
We have a Skiing and Boarding Trip scheduled to Blue Mountain on Wednesday, February 22nd. Mr. Van Dyke has sent home an email with details for the Hill Top Prep Day on the Slopes to Blue Mountain. If your child is, or would like to learn how to be a skier or snowboarder, look for Mr. Van Dyke’s email with instructions on how to go about purchasing lift tickets, rental equipment and lessons or contact him at [email protected].

Visiting Family
We welcomed a family who is looking at the 11th grade for their son for the fall.

Family Fun Friday at the Phillies-6/9!
We are excited to announce our annual FAMILY FUN FRIDAY at the Phillies! (or should it be Phamily Phun Phriday?).

Join us as we see OUR NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPION Philadelphia Phillies take on our west coast rivals, the LA Dodgers, on Friday, June 9 at 7:05. We have tickets in Section 137, right down the 3rd baseline/right field foul grounds, with easy access to concessions. It's also Dick Allen Bobblehead night, so there's a bonus!

This is an event for the entire Hill Top Community--students, families, alumni, faculty, you name it! Students are expected to attend with their family or friends. Transportation is not provided.

Tickets are $60 each.
Please complete the google form here if you would like to reserve your tickets: Phillies Tickets! We have a large number of tickets available, but in the event that interest is exceptionally high, it may be difficult for us to get more tickets due to the high demand of this particular game.

HawXpo-4/29
We will be holding a new event called HawXpo on Saturday, April 29th. This will be a large-scale event on campus that will celebrate pop culture and gaming to enhance social skills. It will have vendors, gaming and board competitions, speakers, panels, food trucks, and much, much more. In addition to our community, we have school, collegiate, and business partners that will be assisting and attending - watch for more info to come.
