Clinical Team Announcement
We happily welcomed Mrs. Moore back to Hill Top from maternity leave and, we thanked and showed our appreciation to Mr. Cross whose last day at Hill Top is tomorrow.

Visiting Family
We welcomed a family who is looking at the 8th grade for their son for this school year.

College Acceptance
Congratulations to Nathan S on his acceptance to Delaware Valley University!

Fun Friday- 1/20
The next Fun Friday trip will take place at URBAN AIR Trampoline Park in East Norriton, PA. on Friday, January 20 from 3:30-7:30. The cost is $45 and includes all attractions at Urban Air, bus transportation, and faculty supervision.

Students will get to run, jump, and explore from our arrival until 6:30, when we will grab a bite to eat at one of the fast-food restaurants in the nearby shopping center. Students will need to bring their own money for dinner. Options will include Chick-Fil-A, Taco Bell or Arbys. There are also snacks available for purchase at Urban Air.

Space is limited and sign-ups will close on Tuesday, January 17.

Please note that an additional waiver from Urban Air will be sent the week of 1/17 to those who have signed up. This is required to participate.

Writing Contest
Every year Mrs. Nelson’s teachers' organization, Alpha Delta Kappa, sponsors a writing contest for middle school and high school students. Wow! Four Hill Top students have won in recent years! The prompt is in three parts: What makes a good friendship? What qualities do you look for in a close and special friendship? Describe a very special friend in your life.
Look for an email that was sent home with additional information about due dates and prizes. Students should see their English teacher to submit their piece, & contact Mrs. Nelson with questions.

Debate Team Event- February 3rd & 4th
Ms. Hardiman spoke to students about the debate team today, and asked that they contact her if interested in joining.

Transportation Reminder
As we are now into the winter months, here are a few things to remember regarding transportation and school closings. If your child takes school district transportation, please make sure that you pay attention to your individual school district’s instructions. If your district is delayed, your child’s bus will be delayed, if your district is closed, your child will not have transportation to Hill Top. If Hill Top is open and your district is closed, your child’s absence will not be counted as a day out of school. If Hill Top closed due to the weather, you will receive an automated phone call letting you know the status of the day. In addition, you will see the information on our school’s website, and all of the major TV stations will have our school’s name and status on the “crawl” at the bottom of the screen.
