Meet the Staff

Mia Henry, NSC Program Coordinator
Mia Henry joined Hill Top Prep in the 2019-20 school year after more than twenty years of experience in education. After graduating with a BS in psychology from Boston University with a minor in Greek language, she spent ten years living on the island of Crete in Greece. Returning to the Philadelphia region in 2009, Mia began her role in special education as a classroom teacher while taking opportunities to grow professionally. Mia’s exceptional ability to adapt to change and grow from diverse experiences has led her to pioneer the new role of Coordinator of Hill Top Preparatory School’s (HTPS) new Neurodiversity Success Center (NSC). 

Certified PEERS® Instructors

Ms. ClarkeChristine Clarke, Certified PEERS® Instructor

Mrs. Clarke has been a Hill Top staff member since 2018. She is the Department Chair for Physical Education and she teaches both P.E. and Health. Ms. Clarke received her BA from Ursinus and her MA from Villanova University. She coaches both Cross Country and Basketball. Her favorite part of her job is watching her students’ confidence soar when they master a new skill, whether in the classroom or in an athletic setting. When not teaching, she enjoys running, cooking, reading, tater tots, and Harry Potter movies!

Lisa G

Lisa Gargiulo, Certified PEERS® Instructor

Ms. Gargiulo has been working at Hilltop since 2012. She got her bachelor's degree in English at Wake Forest University and her master's degree in Culture and Communication at New York University. She teaches 7th and 8th grade English and the Creative Writing elective. Her favorite part of her job is helping students become better writers and readers. She is also the advisor of Middle School Counsel and helps chaperone Fun Friday trips. Her favorite thing about working at Hill Top is that she can get to know all of the students and faculty, since it is such a small school. She believes that the community does a great job of supporting one another and helping each other grow.

Jill Lesser, Certified PEERS® Instructor
Ms. Lesser joined Hill Top in 2018 and serves as a math teacher, instructing 5th grade math, algebra and pre-algebra. She earned a BS in Physics from Bates College and later earned her M.Ed. from Temple University.

Susan McGrathSusan McGrath, Certified PEERS® Instructor

Mrs. McGrath graduated from Juniata College with a BA in Education & Early Childhood Education with PA, VA, and NY certifications. She teaches Mathematics at Hill Top including algebra and pre-algebra. Mrs. McGrath is the current advisor to the National Honor Society and is a Fitness Club coach.

Sabrina Moore
Sabrina Moore, Certified PEERS® Instructor
Mrs. Moore began at her role as a school counselor at Hill Top in 2019. After completing her undergraduate studies at Newman University, Mrs. Moore continued her education at Widener University earning her Master's degrees in Education and School Counseling. 
Lisa Woodcock, Certified PEERS® Instructor
Mrs. Woodcock graduated from St. Joseph's University with a BS in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. Mrs. Woodcock has worked as a Community Integration Specialist for individuals with chronic mental illness. She taught at both Holy Child at Rosement and Hill Top Preparatory School for a total of 11 years. Currently, Mrs. Woodcock works as a Paralegal for Delaware County.

Ms. Gillespie helps students and families navigate the transition to life after high school, whether that is college, trade school, a job, or a gap year to help develop both work and study skills.
