Middle School English Teacher

Hill Top Preparatory School is seeking a creative, collaborative, and detail-oriented educator to teach middle school English, full-time, for the remainder of the 2023-2024 academic year. Successful completion of this year is likely to result in an invitation to continue teaching at Hill Top. Strong candidates will have a subject-area degree and experience teaching middle school school literature and writing. Familiarity with our mission and a willingness to participate in a neurodiverse school community are important characteristics for our faculty. A sense of humor and a desire to lead exciting, student-centered lessons are also beneficial.

Hill Top educators typically teach four to five sections, serve as a mentor/advisor for a small group of students, and lead a club or other extracurricular activity. Additional opportunities may arise as the year progresses.

-Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Creative Writing, Education or commensurate experience
-Experience with middle school school education in and out of the classroom
