Saga- GLSEN Day of Silence 4/12 This is a national student-led demonstration where LGBTQ students and allies all around the country—and the world—take a vow of silence to protest the harmful effects of harassment and discrimination of LGBTQ people in schools. More details to come on this event!
Spirit of the Hawk Mrs. Gillespie awarded a Spirit of the Hawk for Leadership to Alan A. Yesterday, she overheard Alan kindly and respectfully explaining to a student why their behavior was unacceptable in the Hill Top community.

Solar Eclipse Activities Scientists are saying that red and green will be particularly affected by the solar eclipse. Students are invited to wear bright colors on Monday.
Eclipse glasses will be provided to interested students and staff for viewing safely.
Middle school – students will create pinhole cameras during their science classes in preparation for the event. Upper school – students will learn more about the solar eclipse in their classes to better understand WHY we observe them. Middle and upper school – a campus-wide eclipse viewing will take place during 8th period on Monday, April 8th.
Blood Drive The NHS and American Red Cross are hosting a blood drive on campus on Wednesday, April 10th. If you or any members of your family are able to donate, please consider doing so. Please join our lifesaving mission and schedule an appointment today! Our goal is 51 pints. If you are able to join us, we will be so grateful. As an extra incentive, everyone who registers to donate blood at our blood drive on 4/10 will be entered into a raffle. The prize is two Phillies tickets plus a parking pass for Friday, 4/12 when the Phils face the Pirates at Citizens Bank Park! Game time is 6:40. The April Fun Friday is scheduled for Friday, April 26 to Dave and Busters. This is a change from the originally scheduled date of April 12, so it will not conflict with Hawxpo. Sign up information for this trip will be sent out next week. This will also be the final Fun Friday before our Family Fun Friday to the Phillies.
Speaking of the Phillies...Baseball season is here! Join us to see the Phillies take on the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday, May 31. This is a community event, and all members of the Hill Top community are invited to join us with their family or friends. Tickets are $50 each.
