Kevin M.R. Mayne, Head of School

Hello from The Hill!

Can you believe summer has come and gone already? We have missed you and your children and are so looking forward to beginning the new school year.

Over the summer we did a number of campus upgrades including the new Fitness Center, Linden Landing Middle School gathering area and new Activity Room, a permanent spot for The Bean Scene, the new Neurodiversity Success Center (be sure to ask about its enhanced after school/weekend services) and so much more. In particular, The Mansion has undergone quite the facelift. Wait until you see it! Our historical main building (Bates-Bristol Hall) is refreshed, bright, and beautiful. We have also invested in and enhanced our staff, programs, and services. We can't wait for you to see it all.

The 2023 - 2024 school year will be a great one. Be sure to click on the important information from George Sedgwick, Assistant Head - Academics, Dave Van Dyke, Assistant Head - Student Life, and Mike Cohen, Head of the Middle School. Lastly, mark your calendar with all of the upcoming events. You don't want to miss them. We have so many wonderful, exciting, and informative activities coming up.

Our theme for the year is 'Future Focused.' At Hill Top, everything we do is focused on ensuring a great future for our students and for our school so that we can continue to be the Main Line leader in the education of neurodiverse students.

Looking forward to seeing all of our Hill Top Hawks soon!

Best,

Kevin M.R. Mayne
Head of School

A creative and disruptive innovator, student advocate, and educational thought leader, Kevin Mayne’s 41-year professional career has focused on assisting students in overcoming barriers to their education. During this time, his team brought in the largest new student classes in the College’s 230-year history. Kevin previously served as the Senior Vice President of Mitchell College in New London, CT. He was at Mitchell for 17 years and oversaw the areas of advancement, marketing, and enrollment management. Under his leadership, the college’s enrollment more than doubled, fund raising reached an all-time high, and the College was able to re-brand itself to expand nationally.
