Today’s Music comes to us from Mrs. Selinsky. She says, Happy National Poetry Month. In place of music, Ms. Selinsky shared the poem “Remember” by Joy Harjo, our first Native American Poet Laureate. Being U.S. Poet Laureate means that Ms. Harjo represents the best of contemporary American poetry and creativity.
"Joy Harjo has championed the art of poetry ‘soul talk’ as she calls it-for over four decades...To her, poems are ‘carriers of dreams, knowledge and wisdom,’ and through them she tells an American story of tradition and loss, reckoning and myth-making. Her work powerfully connects us to the earth and the spiritual world with direct, inventive lyricism that helps us reimagine who we are."

The Middle School Student Council reports that this Friday, April 16 students and faculty are encouraged to wear clothes that show off their favorite fandom. Do you love the Phillies? See Ms. Gargiulo or your student council representative if you have any questions.

Hill Top’s Butterfly Garden-
The deadline to place an order for t-shirts or hoodies has been extended to Midnight Tonight!

Did you know that the Monarch Butterfly population has decreased by 80% since the mid 1990s? In 2019 Hill Top Students decided to do something about this! The 8th grade class' Unless Project and Hill Top Horticulture began the planning stages for the Hill Top Preparatory School Community Butterfly Garden. This year the planning continued with Hill Top's science classes and ET classes joining the fun. This spring we WILL to bring this project to fruition with the installation of a butterfly garden. But we need your support! Please purchase a Save the Monarch T-shirt or hoodie designed by our own Hill Top Prep Alum Zephyr Markley class of 2020!

T-shirts and hoodies can be purchased using the following link

Please reach out to Ms. Kroberger or Mrs. Stretch with any questions.
