There will be no Community Meetings for the remainder of this week due to Spirit Week.

Call for Library Book Returns!

It’s that time of year! Please return your library books to the Hill Top Library for a chance to win fabulous junk. Contact Ms. Murphey with any questions: [email protected]

Petition Project UPDATE: The fundraiser for the 8th Grade petition project has expanded to include a $100 goal for the Optimist Club. Mr. Peselli, the Middle School counselor, has volunteered to dye his beard BLUE if the goal is reached. The original goal of $100 for the school's student councils has already been achieved, meaning Mr. Cohen is set to go blue for Spirit Week. Please consider sparing a dollar or two for a great Hill Top event and cause.

Hill Top Scarves

The Hill Top Horticulture group continues to sell their cozy, reversible, school spirit scarves. The scarves are $15 each. All proceeds benefit the Hill Top Horticulture Club. Parents may pay online, or with a check. Please make checks payable to Hill Top Preparatory School. Contact Mrs. Stretch with your order details at [email protected]. Thank you for your support!

Hill Top Job Board

The Hill Top Job Board is located in the Upper Linden hallway and is divided into the 5 surrounding counties. The jobs posted are suitable for students and are part-time positions. Students who are seeking a job are encouraged to take a posting as well as let Mrs. Navarra know if they have a job to post. Mrs. Navarra also offered to assist any student in seeking employment.

Box Tops for Education Campaign

The MSSC has renewed sponsorship of the Box Tops for Education campaign. These are the pink and white coupons found on cereal boxes, other General Mills products, paper products, household cleaning products, and many other products, including food storage products such as Ziplock Bags. The school gets ten cents for each one we submit. It may not sound like much, but like Amazon Smile donations, it will add up if we take the time to cut them out and bring them in. A collection box will be on Mrs. Stamler’s desk. Thank you!

Soles4Souls’ Shoe Collection

Hill Top is collecting new and gently used shoes. Donated shoes will be repurposed and distributed through Soles4Souls’, a micro-enterprise program that create jobs in Haiti, Honduras and other developing nations. The program helps individuals start small businesses.
Jared Miller is supporting his brother Zachary with this service project. Thanks in advance for your help!

Parents Corner

The Parent's Association is looking for board members for next year.

The available positions are president, vice president and secretary. We are also looking for chairs for the following events: Bingo and ice cream social, martini and massage, comic con and staff appreciation. These are great volunteer opportunities with minimal time commitment. Contact Kitty Goetz at [email protected] or Jodi Lambright at ([email protected])
