Today students had the opportunity to learn about 10 colleges and universities and their academic programs for College Day! Students were able to attend sessions from the list of the following schools:
Arcadia University
Beacon College
Harcum College
Juniata College
Manor College
Rosemont College
St. Joseph's University
Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology
West Chester University
Widener University
Representatives from these colleges and universities discussed the school, majors, student and campus life, and the admissions process. After each session there was time for students to ask questions as well.
Amy Gillespie, Hill Top’s Director of Post-Secondary Transition, organized the event and was very happy with the outcome. She said, “This is the second year that we’ve hosted a College Day on the last day of school. It’s been a really nice way to end the year, encouraging students to look forward and to go into the summer thinking about their futures.”
