Box Tops for Education Campaign

The MSSC has renewed sponsorship of the Box Tops for Education campaign. These are the pink and white coupons found on cereal boxes, other General Mills products, paper products, household cleaning products, and many other products, including food storage products such as Ziplock Bags. The school gets ten cents for each one we submit. It may not sound like much, but like Amazon Smile donations, it will add up if we take the time to cut them out and bring them in. A collection box will be on Mrs. Stamler’s desk. Thank you!

Parents Corner:

Autism Day at Six Flags Great Adventure, May 8, 2019!

Last year was the first time a park the magnitude of Six Flags was transformed into a sensory-friendly environment where individuals on the spectrum, their family, friends and educators were able to enjoy a day at the park – together. The feedback we heard most was “Thank you; this was a judgment free zone where we could just simply enjoy a day together.” So, of course, we had to do it again this year!

Thank you to all of the schools, organizations and families who attended and helped spread the word about last year’s Autism Day at Six Flags Great Adventure. We hope you will join us again this year and help spread the word so more families can experience this incredible day with us.

Linked below are some materials you can share and a link to purchase tickets as well as the exclusive event T-Shirt. Wear your shirt proudly in April to show your support for Autism Awareness month!
